The Serbia Convention Bureau and its Partners Generate $17 million in Future Business

The Serbia Convention Bureau (SCB) and its partners continue to build success in promoting Serbia as a highly regarded convention destination in Europe. So far this year, the SCB which is a department within the National Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) has worked with Serbia’s Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs) to book conferences and conventions with an estimated value of $17 million through 2014. Among these are several major conferences that will take place in the Sava Center including the 13th European AIDS Conference – EACS in October 2011 (3.500 visitors expected), Heart Failure Congress of the European Society of Cardiology in May 2012 (3.500 visitors expected), and European Congress of Menopause in March 2014 (2.000). Serbia Film Commission continues to successfully represent Serbia on the international film market

During the last nine months, international producers have visited Serbia to consider the country as alocation for projects that have a potential total value of $360 million.
